Government criminal negligence

The worrying consequence is that India ranks fourth in the list of countries with the highest number of corona cases in the world. Nearly ten thousand people are affected carona every day after the lockdown restrictions are relaxed. The number of cases reached three lakh as of 12.6.20.

A survey by the Medical Research Council of India (ICMR) on the epidemic has come to light. The ICMR said that the coronavirus is rapidly spreading in the urban poor and in the slum dwellers, as compared to rural areas.

Analyzes showed that covid19 contamination was 1.09 times more likely in cities than in villages and 1.89 times more in slums. The survey, covering 28,595 families and 26,400 people covering 83 districts across the country. It mirrored the Central Government's non-plan action on  the corona.

The Center has acted as the most negligent in terms of the fecilitation of  financial position to the poor. The majority of the carona affected people who lived in slums are poor migrant workers.

Migrant workers are collapsing thousands  kilometers away from their home towns. Train accidents and starvation deaths are major causes of loss of life. This is the tragic crisis of independent India caused by rulers.

The Central Government elders who gave free advices that "Take nutrition, clean your hands with sanitizers every half an hour, wear masks."  They have thought, it is possible in case of  poor people too. The instance of Dharwada slum reveals the failure of the Government in contamination of covid19 in slum areas.
Lockdown restrictions continue in most slums, mainly poor areas, as the corona boom is more prevalent in near sewers. If it works but not all of them are now full of stomachs.

Physical distance must be followed. Free advice on hyzenic eating for boosting immunity not possible for the poor.  It is pathetic that the Government does not think that it is possible for small shopkeepers, housekeepers,  and hackers to keep physical distance. And what should the Government do.

Providing food, nourishment and  sanitizers to all the people irrespective of the ration cards will help the poor stay home. Today, because of the loss of employment, it is not possible to the 65 crores of poor people to take hygienic food.   The  Government seeking public welfare should do so in times of disaster. Countries like China, Cuba and Vietnam have done the same in the world. In India,  the Government of Kerala is providing 17 types of essentials free of charge to the people. Established aid centers for migrant workers on the spot and joined them as 'guests'. But the disaster did not materialize by the economic package announced by Modi Sarkar's Rs 20 lakh crore fund.

Modi Sarkar did not listen even to the chants of the poor, saying, Give me at least some food for living. Food trucks to be supplied to the needy through the public distribution system. The amount reserved for this   have also been shipped to corporate companies that make sanitizer. Is there any more austerity for the poor? As of now, no one knows how the Covid-19 gets into curb. This is not to say that the poor are at increased risk, but it is the responsibility of the Central Government to protect them from the danger. The Modi Government has failed miserably in this regard.
