TTD decision is not advisable

The decision taken by the Tirupati Devasthanam Trust Board to sale their 25 properties,  sens that the assets will be sold without any need.

In this whole process, the TTD  is getting Rs 24 crore. Some of the devotees of Lord Venkateswara are practicing the ritual of giving property with ornaments as part of the collateral.

Lands that have been involved in legal disputes for years have been resolved by TTD.  Unlawful land deeds are deposited in Swami Hundi. It is the duty of the TTD  Board to ensure that any property is secured.
It is pointless to say that the TTD is invading someone else's property and not protecting them.

It is not a hopeless bid to save. The land of a single devotee  should not be alienated. TTD is now out of the reach of whoever said it, but there are solutions to prevent the sale of TTD assets.

The land can be utilized for public utility purposes in order to ensure that the land is in the name of the temple, in agreement with the respective state Government.

The relevant places can be given to the developer. Usually 60 per cent of the land is given to the TTD and 40 per cent to the builder.

Buildings and leases of property as a perpetual lease of a single penny cost of these constructions, will earn an income to the owner. The decision was taken during the last Government regime. It is not fair to say that the TTD is selling according to that decision.

If the devotees did not resist the auction of these lands, the idea that the Swami's jewels would be worthless in the coming days might be worth selling.

There is no need to specify what is going on in order  to dissolve the TTD jewelery in to gold coins at Bombay mint factory. But permanently unpopular remains.

If the devotees accept this, it will go further sale of TTD properties and there is no end to it. TTD has sold 100 properties so far and has not used the said amount properly.  TTD is spending more unwanted costs. It is possible to build temples in the capital of each state and in the head quarter  of each district of  two Telugu states. But the Government insists the TTD to perform the same.

TTD should keep a list of their assets on the Internet with their value. The  Government is not  even in a position to protect their assests. It already being started in the Government to sale of valuable properties. The same is extended to TTD.

In Tirupati the sv  high school was given to police department. 5 acres to bharatiya Vidya bhavan, 4 acres to Aravind eye hospital, 50 acres to ap tourism at alipiri was given by TTD. The Government is taking TTD lands on free of cost. Devotees who donated property to the temple for the purpose of protecting their assets but  not to sell.

The TTD must take the opinion of the concerned donor to act on his property and make sure that the said amount is properly spent. TTD devotees never question TTD loyalty at earlier days.  But now the devotees are questioning since the TTD has lost the confidance of the Devotees. it is happening. TTD is facing negative publicity due to its diversion of funds. This may lead to a decrease in donor numbers. TTD’s reputation lies on  its transparency. The TTD should handle this. Unfortunately the Government takes over the TTD. The action and decisions of the TTD Board lead to the TTD in defense.  The devotees must unite and strive to protect TTD funds and properties.
